Pebble Adds Mysterious Countdown Timer to Its Homepage

Pebble, maker of one of the first popular smartwatches, has added a mysterious countdown timer to its homepage.

The timer which is counting down until Tuesday morning, currently has 4 days and 22 hours left to go.

Pebble introduced its current Pebble Steel watch back in January 2014. With the Apple Watch on the horizon it's possible the company will introduce a new watch to counter the threat.

I was disappointed with the first one and following the second. Hope this will come out better than apple watch

Yeah, no. Bought a white Pebble on Kickstarter for my wife; she got it after Best Buy was already selling the black ones. I'm not too impressed with mine either: no syncing of iOS alarms, no built-in stopwatch, shady connectivity/notifications. It's a meh product. At least it's waterproof and has a "decent" battery life.
