I am happy to be a Apple fan, I am happy to be fan of the products i like and that can be useful for me, and the Apple Watch does not looks like the case. As the iPad the Apple Watch is just one more product (beautiful no doubts) which does what the other already do. I dont discuss the price or the design, all are the best, but are they useful? for me not, I have an iPhone, a MacBook Pro and I drive my life happier without having another gadget to tell me the same that the iPhone or the Computer already tell me! my Withings watch 37g, 11mm thickness, 36mm diameter and 8 MONTHS battery does perfectly what I expect from a fitness tracker. Sorry Apply I am and continue being an Apple fan but not for all products. And 1000% sure will not change my Daimler for an Apple car.

zetaprime hit it on the head. the price is the biggest problem with the apple watch. when the price gets too high, i start thinking alternative ways on spending that money. putting it towards the newest iPhone or newest mac rather than something i may or may not get bored of in a few months. i actually hope apple would make a simple sport bracelet with siri mic and notifications and some sport features. then in a beautiful thin rectangle form to wear as a bracelet. then price at 250 or under.

The Apple watch is missing something that some Samsungs watches have: A camera. Would be nice to be able to take a pic without pulling out the iPhone. I wonder how they overlooked this? Not that I'd ever get any of these watches. #1: I don't like wearing watches. #2: it needs you to have your iPhone on you, so who needs the watch? And if you gotta pull out your phone to snap a quick pic it becomes even less worthwhile. It looks kinda bulky and clumsy on the wrist anyway. They might have made it more curved and flat to be more ergonomic. But a big thing like that..for someone who doesn't like wearing such encumbrances on their wrist it is especially unappealing. Now I'm not at all down on Apple. The other product they introduced (the new 12" MacBook") is very enticing. I'd rather spend my money on that since I have an older MacBook Air which is starting to show its age (a bit slow and not enough memory and storage).

That's why Apple watch connects with iPhones to do most things it can. When it comes to taking pictures, iphone sends it to the watch, but who knows, 2nd generation will do it just like ipad 2 and so forth. Just give it time for now, but for everything else- half the things that Apple watch does requires iphone if you want to see more results on bigger screen. For the watch by looks though, not really as bulky compared to the iPhone though but not sure how much it's going to shrink easily but won't work like it's clumsy, but curved? It makes sense to have flat screens especially for watches I mean we were trying to get rid of them all this time, I don't want to limit my viewing angle even on the wrist.

I don't like watches and haven't worn one since I was a kid. If I were to get a wristwatch it would have to be something thin and light, of a flexible plastic material that I wouldn't notice was on my wrist. The Apple watch doesn't look remotely like anything I'd be willing to have on my wrist.
