Priime, is a new app that offers smart photo filter suggestions based on photographic properties like color and content.

We've curated the finest photo tools in the world and bundled them into a brand-new editor. Easily swipe in and out of your library and never worry about importing again. Tap back through your edit history to undo changes. Optionally, save your photos in-place, meaning less copies of edits floating around your Camera Roll.

The app comes with some free filters but you'll need to pay for additional ones. Currently, a launch promotion offers 85% off filters making additional ones $0.99 or $9.99 for all styles.

Priime's key features:
- Photo filters: Apply professional-grade photo filters, which are created in collaboration with world’s top photographers in the form of their photographic styles
- Photo filter suggestions: Smart style recommendations based on photographic properties, like colors and contents
- Copy and paste: Copy your edits from a single photo, to many other photos all at once
- Editing tools: Modern, beautiful tools to fine tune and polish your photos
- Highest quality photos: Non-destructive, max-resolution editing up to 36 megapixels or higher
- History: Visual undo with a full edit history

You can download Priime from the App Store for free.

I'm sorry, but I'll NEVER purchase an app which advertises "filters". "Filters" is a keyword suggesting "photo expertise" when all it really means is "crappy faded look which doesn't improve photos at all". I'm into photography, and I've NEVER used one of these filters! (If I need something like that, I create my own rather than using these canned solutions.) In essence, it's a way to sell a photo tools to non-photographers so they can post ugly shots that look vaguely 'artistic' (i.e. out of focus).

Hi Nick, Andrew founder of Priime here. We actually call them "styles" because they are much more advanced than most "filters" out there. We analyze your photos and match them with the styles that work best, this way we can change much more than just some general properties of your photos. We wrote up a detailed blog post on our thought process, check it out at https://medium.com/@priime/introducing-priime-9e6b0dbd8598 Thanks! ayn, founder & ios, Priime.
