Apple Watch 'Pick Up in Store' Option Will Be Available Soon

Posted May 6, 2015 at 4:32pm by iClarified
Apple is preparing its 'Pick up in Store' option for customers looking to purchase the Apple Watch.

Some users going through checkout have spotted an 'Available soon' notification under the pick up in store option, as can be seen in the screenshot below.

Currently, the only way to purchase an Apple Watch is to pre-order via the online store and have it delivered to your home by courier. The pick up in store option is still grayed out; however, it appears Apple is readying the service for customers who prefer to go to a store for pickup.

We'll let you know when it goes live. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.

Apple watch is so lame. It's super geeky for me at least. I didn't like it at all. Does not replace classical time pieces. I returned my watch after a week of use. Just get a Fitbit HR if you're into tracking your work outs.

Look, I agree with you, it's totally dorky. Anyone that wears one to be cool is pathetic. That being said, I'm overlooking the dorkiness and wearing one because I do find it convenient to get notifications without pulling out my phone, and of course all the other features. Replacing a classic timepiece? Never. A convenient piece of technology? Yup.

Apple watch is smart, it's bright, it's awesome. I don't see how anyone would buy anything to show off like that anyway. I read reviews and they sait's enough to leave iPhone behind, not perfect (because of generations of course but tell that to the writers) but it exceeds people's expectations and android wear, but most of all it's how much work went into it from the gestures to the control. That says a lot.

Very surprised you ordered one in the first place. You're obviously not a candidate. Many people stopped wearing a watch after the iPhone phenomena in 2007, I did. This created a very valuable 'Parking Spot', which Apple has ingeniously filled once again. It was never meant to 'replace' the 'classical timepiece' but it will, by the millions.
