Apple has revealed that the new high-end 15-inch MacBook Pro officially supports the Dell UP2715K 27-inch 5K display.

The MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) with AMD Radeon R9 M370X now joins the Mac Pro (Late 2013) and iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014 and later) in supporting the dual-cable display.

This likely means that owners of the new MacBook will also be able to use the 5K HP Z27q display by following the instructions we've posted here.
