Nomad has unveiled Roadtrip, a 12V USB car charger with a built-in battery for charging your iPhone and other mobile devices.

Roadtrip is a sleek, revolutionary car charger that not only charges your device while driving, but has a built in portable battery for on the go use. There’s a 3,000mAh backup battery inside that provides plenty of portable power when and where you need it.

Roadtrip features a USB and USB Type-C connector each delivering 1.5amp per port at 5V. It charges up your phone first, and then charges its internal battery. Since it charges your battery everytime you drive, Nomad says it's almost always 100% full and ready to use.

You can pre-order the Nomad Road trip for discounted price of $39.99 but the price returns to $59.99 on October 15th. It ships on October 30th.

It is not. It has AT transmission and you can change with stick where the power goes - RWD , 4x4, etc

My ampy makes this moot. My cars simple motion charges my phone as i drive. If i fail to replace my shocks, it charges even faster!

1.5a per port is a fail. 2.4a would have been wise.

Are those 2 lightning ports in the front? It says USB-A and USB-C but looks like 2 lightning port in the front, even the cable looks like lightning. I'd but a 2 lightning port at 2A, charger.
