Apple CEO Tim Cook will be a speaker at the WSJ.D LIVE conference taking place October 19-21, 2015.

Tim Cook recently announced the next chapter in Apple’s story with the introduction of Apple Watch, the company’s most personal device ever. As CEO, Cook is also overseeing a company-wide initiative to use 100 percent renewable energy at all of its facilities, and he continues efforts to improve conditions for workers in Apple’s supply chain.

Before being named CEO in August 2011, Cook was Apple’s chief operating officer and oversaw worldwide sales and operations, which included manufacturing, service and support. Prior to Apple, he held key operations roles at Compaq, Intelligent Electronics and IBM.

Cook earned an MBA from Duke University, where he was a Fuqua Scholar, and holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Auburn University.
