Apple Releases WatchOS 2.0 for Apple Watch

Posted September 21, 2015 at 5:06pm by iClarified
Apple has released watchOS 2.0 to the public. WatchOS 2.0 was to arrive on September 16th but a significant bug delayed its release.

This update is the first major software update for Apple Watch and includes new watch faces, third-party app complications, new capabilities in Mail, Friends and Digital Touch, and support for third-party apps running natively.

You can find instructions on how to install watchOS 2.0 on your device here. The full release notes are here.

It should also detect if you are on 9.1 beta, as it did for us. Ensure your device is connected to the phone and that the phone is on Wi-Fi. Also, try rebooting both.
