Check out this speed test comparing the iPhone 6s Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

Speed test between Apple iPhone 6S Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Performed PhoneBuffStyle. Which of these top-of-the-line smartphones is the fastest?

As you can see in the video below, despite having less RAM, the iPhone 6s Plus does a much better job of backgrounding applications.

haha... It's only faster in single core stuff like texting, gaming on the multicore level and the iphone starts dropping frames. Samsung best in multicore. Checkout benchmark (phonearena) https://i.imgur.com/rV3zhYl.jpg

iPhone still stepped up its game even that the ram is optimized and still performs better than gloat 5.

I own the 6s but I wonder if the Samsung phone has to relaunch apps because it is trying to save battery life. Instead of it being slower it's really conserving battery by closing apps not in use. Either way the iPhone 6s is a fast phone.

Same tests every year prove that the iPhone is still better than Samsung. Even if the hardware specs show that Samsung is better than iPhone's. It all boils down how the OS behaves in the hardware which thhe iPhone does best. Shame on Samsung with all of their gimmicks!

IPhone 6s doesn't do much and it can't multitask so it should be faster. Lets not forget it only has a 1080P screen.

iPhone 6s clearly does more and it's called multitasking for a reason, plus it has the pixel dentist over a 1080p screen even if you consider it laminate so...

It barley multitasks finally after it copied it from samsung and the screen res is only 1080p compared to 1440p on the note.

Better algorithms on a better architecture period, more secured, more battery in a cold state. Now that's smart?
