dear Apple, I'd love to submit my tvOS app. But you recommend testing on real hardware, and you require that the apps appropriately deal with Siri Remotes functionality. So, since I was not one of the lottery winners, getting an Apple TV for $1, I won't be submitting my app. Because like you, I believe it should be tested on real hardware. So in the future, maybe make the hardware more widely available to developers, not just the ones since Apple ETO days like me, but all registered and paid up developers. Charge me full price. I don't care. What I care about is ensuring my apps leave in the best state possible and don't die on day one. That really means testing on hardware. So, I'll be buying a couple Apple TVs as soon as I can. Then spending a few weeks on QA and any possible tweeting needed, then waiting for the Apple review process to complete and deal with that feedback. So, I'll likely see my apps on the tvOS store in a month, or two. Since I assume others are in similar situations. Best regards, eagerly awaiting the ability to actually submit a quality product tested on real hardware.

Or you could use real jailbreaking to get the real hardware.
