The iPhone Was the Top Camera on Flickr in 2015

The iPhone was the most popular camera used by the Flickr community in 2015, according to the site's Year in Review.

The iPhone was used to take 42% of photos uploaded to Flickr besting DSLRs like the Canon EOS (27%) and Nikon D (16%).

Flickr says that camera phones took 39% of photos, DSLRs took 31%, point and shoots took 25%, and mirrorless cameras took 3%. The most popular camera phone was the iPhone 6, followed by the iPhone 5s, Galaxy S5, iPhone 6 Plus, and the iPhone 5.
