BBC iPlayer App Launches For the New Apple TV

BBC iPlayer App Launches For the New Apple TV

Posted December 14, 2015 at 7:00am by iClarified
BBC has updated its BBC iPlayer app to support the new Apple TV 4. The iPlayer app was not available on previous generation Apple TVs, despite being available on the Fire TV, Roku, Chromecast, and Sky's Now TV box.

Back in September BBC said it had no plans to bring the app to the new Apple TV but in October the company reversed course and announced an app would be coming.

BBC iPlayer lets users in the United Kingdom stream a variety of television programs and radio programs to catch up on the last 30 days of episodes.

Check out the new app and let us know what you think!

Its great that BBC iPlayer arrives in Apple TV. Just in the nick of time for the holidays! For those who live outside UK and want to access BBC iPlayer, you can use UnoTelly as I do to get around the geo block.
