Pelican has unveiled a new range of 'Marine' waterproof smartphone cases for the Apple iPhone 6 / 6s, iPhone 6 Plus / 6s Plus and Samsung Galaxy S6.

“Smart phones, by and large have no real defense against water, but now they’re defended by the Pelican Marine case and 40+ years of protection know-how,” said Bob Shortt, President - Consumer Division of Pelican Products. “Consumers can now hit the pool or beach with the confidence of knowing their phone will be one hundred percent protected and ready for that next amazing selfie or action shot.”

Features:
The Pelican Marine case can be submerged at a depth of two meters for up to 30 minutes and safeguards against dirt, snow, and dust. It also features the same protection consumers have come to expect, including advanced, five layers of military-grade shock protection to withstand slips and drops. To safeguard against scratched and shattered screens, the Marine case also features a scratch-resistant, coated screen protector. Its streamlined design also maintains functionality and simultaneously features balanced sound porting to provide a high-quality, crisp audio experience.

“Pelican quality and dependability are second to none in the industry and we have brought a solution that integrates that same DNA into a watertight, streamlined and functional design at an attractive price-point,” said David Becker, Vice President of Sales – Consumer Electronics Division.

Pricing and Availability:
The Pelican Marine case comes in black and will be available soon for the iPhone 6/6 Plus (MSRP: $79.95 USD), the iPhone 6S/6S Plus (MSRP: $89.95 USD), and the Samsung Galaxy S6 (MSRP: $79.95 USD).

I love the Pelican brand, especially with the new products and product lines. I used to prefer Thule (which still have nice laptop and iPad protected bags) but Pelican now tops it. Awesome back packs for all your gadgets, and this waterproof case, perfect companion for when I go diving!
