Panic has released a big update to its Prompt 2 SSH client for iOS with split-screen views on iPad, support for multiple connections to the same server, Tabs, 3D Touch, Spotlight Search and more.

It's classic. You step outside for a few seconds to eat some gyros and the server goes down, or you lie down to do some light reading and a web page needs an emergency typo fix. Maybe your company uses IRC. Maybe you just like to check in on your servers often. Either way, you're the type of person that already uses SSH. Having a quality SSH client in your pocket is a very good idea.

Welcome to Prompt 2. Prompt 2 is, simply put, an excellent SSH and TELNET client.

Amazing app (and all Panic iOS apps in general). I discovered them a few months ago and although the asking price is higher than certain other competitors, the general care and attention to detail probably is second to none. In addition, the apps feature a beautiful, very functional UI and in my case they transformed my iPad from a media consumption device to a versatile productivity tool. I am very grateful to the developers (and I don't work for Panic!). The iOS ecosystem definitely needs more desktop-class apps like these.
