How to Live Stream The Oscars 2016 [88th Academy Awards]

Looking to live stream the 2016 Oscars on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or Mac? It may be more difficult then you think.

ABC is live streaming the 88th Academy Awards to just eight cities in the United States: Chicago, Fresno, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, and San Francisco. Even if you're in one of these cities you'll need to have a subscription to a major cable provider.

If you do happen to be in one one of those areas, you can easily stream the show via the Watch ABC app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Apple TV. If you'd prefer to watch the show on your desktop, you can visit this link in your browser.

If you live in Canada, you can use the CTV Go app to live stream the Oscars; however, you'll also need a subscription to a participating cable provider.
