Instagram has posted an update to its app that lets you post images to the service from any iOS app.

Released today, version 8.2 of the app includes a share extension that can be launched from any app including the Photos app. The extension gives you the ability to caption a photo and submit it to Instagram but not apply a filter.

You can download Instagram from the App Store for free.
