A TextEdit icon has been spotted on the home screen of an iPad used to demonstrate Metal at WWDC.

In the session 'What's New in Metal, Part 1', an iPad is used to demonstrate adaptive tessellation capabilities in iOS 10. At the 17 minute and 58 second mark, a TextEdit icon can be seen in the device's multitasking app switcher screen.

TextEdit is the word processor preinstalled on OS X. The company has yet to release the app for iOS and it's unclear if Apple ever plans to. A TextEdit app icon also leaked out ahead of iOS 8 but the app wasn't made public.
