You guys haven't seen the real small and thin battery bank from China. Only USD11 for 12,000 mAh. You can play 3D games with 4G streaming all day Long and the key here is very portable. This Anker battery bank is chore to carry around. Not good. Not practical

Always hesitating to get china product, afraid of its safety issues; even though they are very tempting.

There are less Chinese products that are safe enough to use. Those who practice an ethical form of business. If a company is greedy and doesn't think of it's potential customers who will patronize their product, these are the ones you see as cheap, low quality and sometimes explodes. I don't say all of them are substandard, there are some companies like Fiio who takes good care of their client base and always bring the best quality products to their customers. If Chinese manufacturers think the same as Fiio they can beat other foreign companies. But if they still act like they don't care they will be forever branded as knock-offs. For batteries and battery packs, I still prefer the ones with Sanyo battery inside or the original Sanyo battery. They are safe, durable and lasts longer. I saw some battery pack brands who use Sanyo batteries.

I have a 8900 mah charger (pretty heavy too) used it less than 100 times and chargers like its a 1500 mah one. I wouldn't worry about it exploding, more of how long will the battery last.
