Apple to Open Its First Apple Store in Taiwan

Apple is planning to open its first retail store in Taiwan, reports Reuters. The company is seeking "a leader for personnel training plans for the Taiwan Apple Store" as well as employees for other retail positions at the new store.

The Cupertino, California-based company confirmed it had plans to open the first Apple Store in Taiwan, but provided no other details.

It's likely that the retail store would be located in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan and home to about 2.7 million people.
