Philips Unveils New Hue Motion Sensor

Philips Lighting has unveiled the Philips Hue Motion Sensor. The sensitive sensor ensures that your lights go on within half a second after detecting movement.

Smart sensor for perfect lighting
A built-in light sensor works with the motion sensor to see if there is enough light in the room. The lights are only switched on when needed. Besides the fact that it produces energy savings, the sensor also provides comfort. Using the app you can set up night scenes that are easier on the eyes. For example, for when you wake up in the middle of the night to use the washroom.

The light switch is in the past
Setting the Philips Hue Motion Sensor is simple: it is battery powered, completely wireless, magnetic and easily adjustable. The sensor is directly connected with the Philips Hue App and integrated into the Philips Hue lighting system. On the Philips Hue Bridge up to 12 sensors can be connected to cover all the rooms in the house. The motion sensor can be placed in the home in various places or simply mounted on the wall or ceiling.


The new Philips Hue Motion Sensor is available from early November 2016 at a suggested retail price of 39.95.
