Apple has announced that its new Pro Apps Bundle for Education which includes Final Cut Pro X, Logic Pro X, Motion 5, Compressor 4, and MainStage 3 is now available in 35 countries.

In the last 6 months of using FCP X, we have come to refer to it as Rough Cut Amateur.
If they need to call it "Pro" then there is clearly something wrong.
