GE today announced that Apple HomeKit support is coming to its 'C by GE' LED light bulbs.

The connected bulbs will be compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple Homekit this summer. This compatibility is made possible through a new easy-to-operate C-Reach hub, allowing consumers to turn on and off their C by GE lights, dim them and control bulbs individually or in groups by rooms with a simple voice command.

The C-Reach hub is expected to cost less than $50 and may be cheaper when bundled with bulbs. A starter pack of 2 C-Life and 2 C-Sleep bulbs costs $74.99.

We'll let you know when the C-Reach hub becomes available. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
