Apple Stops Signing iOS 10.3.3 and iOS 11, Downgrades and Restores No Longer Possible

Apple has stopped signing iOS 10.3.3 and iOS 11.0 which means that downgrading or restoring to those firmware versions is no longer possible.
Currently, Apple's latest firmware is iOS 11.0.2 and developers have been seeded with iOS 11.1. If you accidentally update or restore, you'll find yourself on iOS 11.0.2.
As usual, you have a better chance of being able to jailbreak your device whilst on a lower firmware version.
The f*ck are you on mate? Maybe Jailbreaking is just awesome to do regardless of what platform you come from? Anyways, just get over it it’s a dying art these days and probably will never come back. RIP Cydia, Pangu, and TaiG.
Unsigned code execution is the purpose of a jailbreak lol android OS is so simple and open anyone can develop on it and thats the problem.There is too much crap-ware in the play store and i have yet to find tweaks for android that even remotely compare to whats available for a jailbroken iPhone. Samsung and pixel make some Good phones and I value the openness of android.however I value the OS on my iPhone more than an android system.
side note:It's a shame windows phones are officially dead they looked damn sexy!
Yes, jailbreaking is absolutely dead. Always was, actually. From day zero, jailbroken phones have been used primarily for piracy. But their instability made them worthless. Save some money and buy a junk phone AKA Android. Then you can pirate to your heart's content.
Ok first of all, how does a community of Jailbreaking folks conduct piracy all day when most of the developers and designers on the Cydia Store were for profit. Seriously, go look up how much it made over the years. Most of these guys still develop and push out the apps to non jail broken phones, probably with that left over Cydia money. As far as device getting slow, I’ve only noticed the iPhone 4 on a 7.1.2 jailbreak get slow. It had a lot of tweaks and packages on it so that doesn’t apply to the iPhone 5 and up.
Jailbreaks are impractical if not available during a live signing period. iOS 10 was the first os I’d used unmodified. Now onto 11. I’m afraid Jailbreaking is dead. Was fun while it lasted.
I have to agree with you, I honestly just don’t see the point in waiting for one when a new iOS 11 version comes around the corner. It’s pretty much impossible to do now even on an older firmware like 10.1-10.2. It also could brick/crash your shiny iPhone. Especially since these exploits are hastily released without stability and performance in mind. Take it from EverythingApplePro, rest in piece JB you have us a fun ride, but like all rides you must come to a screeching halt.
A huge jailbreaker here. Still I admit iOS 10 only had one jailbreak, and an unstable at it... there are no news about teams working on iOS 11 tools, hope I'm wrong but saving SHSH2 blobs may be futile as of now. Thankful for the work they do, like Saurik said 'It'll be good if jailbreaks died, then we can demand Apple for customization and move over to stage 2'.
Saurik is so right! I remember another one that he admitted he used in the past was: “Is that an iPhone without a jailbreak? Dude, you have to jailbreak it to unlock new features and customizations”. Don’t quote me in accuracy, but it was something along those lines at a developer conference.
Maybe for you it is, but many of us are still avid jail-breakers. I keep up with it constantly, and i'm not the only one. Proud owner of an iPhone 7 jailbroken on iOS 10.1. there are still too many tweaks I care about to give up on jailbreaking. I'll give you one... google the tweak "Apex 2".
They are not direct clones from Android. Honestly man, have you ever used a JB on an iPhone? The tweaks and apps are unique and implement there own style, and can make an iPhone beast mode compared to stock iOS.
