So Netflix can be more expensive? No thanks if that happens I’m done with it. Then again T-Mobile has it for free anyways lol.

The axis of the graphic are absolutely dumb. These are the axes you should use when analyzing risk and not the benefits of a M&A. And the probabilities shown are absolutely subjective. Dumb paper done by some inexperienced folks at City.

The first thing that comes to mind with that is price increase which would suck since many people do not have the budget to spend any more. I have had Netflix for about 11 years and this might kill it for me. However, it might mean a lot more quality programming and hopefully the better movies would be released faster without the ridiculous high price of iTunes.

No one is talking politics but yeah, as expected, it only benefited the companies and the rich. So you must be one of the rich ones. Meanwhile, Trump and Kim Jung Un might blow us all out of the face of the earth so it would not matter anyway.

What's true can not be silenced. If they make money by keeping them outside the country and Trump made them to bring them "home" it's a plus for us. More money in our economy - more jobs - more spending.

Electronic Arts is on the list... OMG what a huge mistake that would be. Makes perfect sense for Apple to buy Netflix, having access to their resources to improve its own, plus landing contracts with studios under better terms.

If Apple acquired Netflix it could allow Apple TV to become an even better more lucrative investment especially if Apple comes up with a Apple Media subscription that is both music and video. Tesla would be a good investment for both autonomous driver technology and battery science. Disney would be too big an acquisition but would help curtail copyright and licensing issues on content. Remember how long it took for iTunes to get Beatles music?

I highly doubt Apple would buy Tesla, a company that's at the very pinnacle of its market at the moment. Elon Musk is still very much on his path to making electric vehicles mainstream. The future potential is just too high to cash out now. Finally, Netflix has a market cap of $83 Billion - that's not a decision Apple can just make overnight even if it were to venture into this business. I also think it goes against tradition (with the exception of the Beats acquisition) to buy small, relatively unknown companies and positioning a new feature/product for maximum competitive advantage. Although, Netflix is also not a new or only steaming business in the game where Apple is sorely lacking, so it would make very good sense for the "Apple TV" monicker is to be truly realised.
