Drone Pilot Warns Apple May Soon Cutoff Access, Posts New Video of Apple Park [Watch]

Posted April 16, 2018 at 4:44pm by iClarified
Alongside his latest video of Apple Park, pilot Duncan Sinfield warns that Apple may soon cutoff access to drones completely. Sinfield, Matthew Roberts, and others have been posting regular drone footage of Apple Park, letting us track construction progress on the new campus. Unfortunately, now that Apple Park is full of employees, the company appears to be working harder to prevent any video recording.

This is an extended length video, it's only a matter of time until the campus becomes shut-off to drones completely... with a geo-fence, or something similar. Security at Apple Park generally responds in two white Prius's to my precise take-off locations in 10 minutes or less. While this is speculation, my instincts tell me that Apple is tracking all drones in the vicinity of the campus with sophisticated radio frequency technology from companies such as DeDrone (a San Francisco-based aerospace security company). As always, I respect all requests by Apple Security to land my drone and leave the area when asked to do so. They are always asking if I'm an Apple employee too. So to all of the Apple Employees watching (and reading), don't fly your drones over The Park, it's frowned upon!

Take a look at the Sinfield's latest video below!

You can only on the air space above buildings and only up to a certain distance uploads, an amount which increases in height The more sq ft of buildings you own that are consecutively next to each other. That’s why in order to build skyscrapers developers moved to purchase as much of the surrounding buildings as possible.

Apple is right by keeping invaders from entering the facility - its private property where lots of R&D, designing and whatnot are being done. No one would like peeking people having a look at your work, let alone spies trying to get ahold of any bits of info...
