Apple May Not Bundle Lightning to Headphone Jack Adapter With New iPhones

Cirrus Logic has reportedly confirmed that Apple will not bundle a Lightning to Headphone Jack adapter with its new iPhones.

The news comes via a Barclays research note seen by MacRumors.

"Reported a beat but gave mixed guidance with revenue below but earnings ahead. Cirrus didn't update its FY19 guide… but they did finally confirm the dongle loss, adding more support for our below estimates," the research note reads.

If Apple does stop including the adapter with its new iPhones, you'll still be able to purchase one separately for $9 from the Apple Store.

Apple is expected to unveil three new iPhones at event that could take place on September 12th. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
