Numerology Adds Facebook Integration

infiniteNIL has updated Numerology, its numerology application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Numerology is an application that helps you use the ancient science of numerology (similar to astrology) to gain insight into yourself and other people. It's a great icebreaker at a parties as well. By studying the numbers derived from a person's name and birth date it is possible to determine their inner personality, talents, hidden tendencies, turning points, and probable challenges in life, among other characteristics. You can also use it to see how compatible two people are for friendship, a business relationship, or romance. Forecasts for the year, month, an day are also provided.

Numerology 1.8 uses the Facebook Connect iPhone API to add Facebook integration in two ways. The first way allows the user to publish reports to their Facebook wall. Numerology also supports emailing reports. The second way lets the user select from a list of their Facebook friends to quickly import their name, birth date, and a picture into a profile that Numerology saves. The list of friends is indexed and searchable just like the built in Contacts application. Numerology also lets the user import information from their Contacts. The Facebook integration aids the user in adding profiles as well as sharing the application and its insights with their friends.
