Apple Introduces Redesigned TV App in tvOS 17.2 Beta! [Images]

Apple has introduced a completely redesigned TV app for the Apple TV with the release of tvOS 17.2 beta.

The app features a new menu panel on the left hand side of the screen. On the home screen the menu contains the current user profile, Search, Watch Now, Apple TV+, your subscriptions, Sports, Store, Library, and then links to Channels & Apps.

Going into Library, you can access your Recent Purchases, Movies, TV Shows, 4K HDR, and Family Sharing. You can also browse by Genres including Action & Adventure, Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Horror, etc.


It's rumored that Apple plans to consolidate the iTunes Movies and iTunes TV Shows apps into this new TV app; however, in tvOS 17.2 Beta 1 those apps are still present.
