AT&T has announced its data plan pricing for international iPad use and it's not cheap.

Here are the four options:
- 20MB for $24.99/month
- 50MB for $59.99/month
- 100MB for $119.99/month
- 200MB for $199.99/month

AppleInsider notes that the largest plan will only give you about 35 minutes of YouTube watching. Only 10 minutes if you are watching in 720p.

Funny, i'm paying € 0,36 / MB on roaming in europe = € 36 / GB. In austria you get 1000 min for calls for € 8.80 = 0.88 cents / min. 1GB dataplan costs € 4

I recently rented a SIM from iPhoneTrip.com and traveled all throughout Europe. I blogged about it here: http://kevinjedwards.com/114/flashpacking-through-europe-with-iphonetrip... They rent SIMs with unlimited data plans, and it was totally worth it. As far as AT&T's international rates? Are they friggin' insane? Who would pay that?

No mistake about it. That's what they charge for all international data plans if you pay for it in advance. It's worse if you don't....$19.97/Mb - yes per megabyte.
