Can I upgrade iphone 4 from ios 4.1 to 5.1 ?

I have an iphone 4 with following specifications: Baseband : 2.10.04 iOs : 4.1 (8B117) Status: Jailbroken but Locked (using Gevey Sim to unlock it) SHSH blobs : saved for 4.3.3, 4.3.5, 5.0.1, 5.1 I tried to upgrade it using RedSnow 0.9.14b2 using iClarified tutorial to upgrade to 5.1 without updating your baseband. I successfully created custom ipsw. But when I try to restore it using iTunes(10.7), It gave error 3194. I changed the hosts file to redirect it to the cydia servers. Then tried again. Now it gives error 1600. Now I have few questions: Can I upgrade it to ios 5.1 or 5.1.1 in anyway? Will I be able to use Gevey Sim with ios 5.1 or 5.1.1? Thanks.

if you have created a cusstom ipsw than u're ok but now days ios6 is running and you can't not restore to ios5 only to ios6 and if you upgrade to ios6 you will be permamelty locked becouse in ios6 we dont have any tools to create custom ipsw and you bb will be upgraded and we dont have any tools to unlock it or to activate it so dont upgrade to ios6 not jet
