IPhone 4s IOS update issue from 6.1 to 7.1.2 or 8.1.2

Hi, I'm getting 3194 error while updating ios from 6.1 to 7.1.2 or 8.1.2. i checked the connectivity & host file but all looks fine. I don't want to update to ios 8.3 as jail break is not available, so please suggest if its a correct update or suggest on which version i can update my iphone 4S. Smiles Lukesh
