Need help to update my jail broken ohone

Hi I have a i phone 4 with version 4.3.3(8j2) which has Cydia and its registered with Sunrise swiss I need to unlock the device, but I was told that after jail braking you can not update the IOS and it some times will get stuck and then cant use the phone let me know how to do this please Thank you in advance for your help Ruwan
