I'm so glad they invented messaging, I felt like the 20 years of device to device messaging was missing some sort of patent to make it real. Now I know. A bit coincidental that Apple were supposed to stop selling iMessage in September for exactly the thing they purchased the patent for: http://www.usitc.gov/press_room/news_release/2012/er0917kk3.htm
