There was strong talk in Aug/Sep \'10 that Sony or LG Innotek had replaced Omnivision for the IPhone 5 and iPad2. Is this still true ?

We don\'t need megapixels on tiny sensor, we need bigger sensor with more megapixels to achieve better picture quality and better sensitivity in low light condition, am I right?

Considering the current iPhone 4 uses an omnivision cmos image sensor this is actually highly likely. Much more so than most of the rumors flying about.
