They make it sound so wonderful.
What they dont mention is they (Google) also have access to this information. Meaning they can see your past history on the web and use this to e.g. streamline advertisments/products to you or worse, sell the info to third parties.
I, for one, have disabled History. If you also want to disable History go to Google.com/history and uncheck 'Remove whole Web-history'
