A new report from DigiTimes says Apple plans to release a 7-inch iPad in August, a new iPhone in September, and a 10-inch iPad in Q4.
Pegatron Technology reportedly has landed orders for a new-generation iPhone to be launched in September and a 10-inch iPad to be launched in the fourth quarter, according to Taiwan-based supply chain makers. Pegatron is currently an OEM for the iPhone 4S and new iPad.
Pegatron is said to be downsizing its SI motherboard department in order to shift resources to Apple's orders.
In addition the report says a 7-inch iPad is being manufactured by Foxconn and will be released in August.
A small iPad would never be released as apple have the iPhone and a small iPad would cause problems with its sales even though apple still gets the money they need to keep their phone numbers up as it a separate category of device A 10" iPad would only be slightly bigger than the current size so would be pointless I think there just calling the current size 10"
I've bought LOTS of Apple products over the years, but I'd NEVER buy either a 7" or a 10" iPad. That's the last thing that Apple needs, to fracture it's own product line like all the manufacters--those now in serious economic trouble--have done.
the current iPad is 9.7" which can be called 10" and thats what they mean my a new iPad 10" coming up...
M sure u can do nothing but whine about stuff u cant buy!!!
