Google and Samsung to Release Software Patch to Circumvent Galaxy Nexus Ban

Google and Samsung are readying a software patch to avoid an infringement ban on the Galaxy Nexus smartphone, reports AllThingsD.
A U.S. judge recently ordered a ban on the device and refused a motion to stay the ban due to likely infringement on Apple patents.
The software patch will supposedly prevent infringement of Apple's patents.
First and foremost, Samsung and Google have a software patch that they believe avoids infringing the Apple patent that led to the injunction. That patch is expected to be pushed out imminently, Google said.
What hasn't dropped yet is Apple's lawsuits in which it will claim it invented electricity, discovered fire, and created the universe; for all of which it will demand compensation.
If there's a patch that can prevent infringing apple's copyright, why not use the patch in the first place? There's obvious intention to use the copyrighted feature in the first place..
They can release any magical 'patch' they want, but it won't amount to anything until the judge approves the problem is Fixed, and that this patch can't simply be turned off by the user.
