How to Combine (Join) Two or More MP4 Video Files

Posted December 6, 2009 at 7:27pm by iClarified
These are instructions on how to quickly combine (join) two or more MP4 video files using your Mac. We previously published a tutorial on how to combine video files using QuickTime. Using QuickTime places the video in a mov container. In some cases this may be a problem.

Follow these steps to combine multiple MP4 files using MKVTools.

Step One
Download and save MKVTools from here to your desktop.

Step Two
Double click to extract the zip archive.

Mention to combine video files, Pavtube Video Converter is a perfect choice. I have used it to merge any video clips into one file: MP4, MKV,AVI, MOV, WMV, etc. Best of all, i can choose the final output video format, adjust the video related parameters, change the video effect, so cool.

I used to use Faasoft Video Joiner to merge MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, MKV, MP3, WAV,etc and happy with it. Hope it will help you more or less.

I just use copy and paste in QuickTime Player.app. I think I have the "Pro" though. 1. Open first segment, scroll to the end. 2. Open the second segment, Select All, Copy 3. Return to the first segment, Paste 4. Repeat until all segments are combined.
