NickCannon - April 16, 2009 at 6:07pm

iClarified - April 16, 2009 at 6:18pm
When watching the log output do you see any indication that anything failed ? Also are you on 2.2.1 original firmware and BB 2.30

Hmm...running 5.8bl, 2.30.3, tried with both 2.2 and 2.2.1 FW and it still is at 2.30.3
Brian Griffin - April 16, 2009 at 4:16pm
Same here, tried it on two different 2.2.1 3Gs with 5.8BL. :-(. What\'s all this about BBUpdaterExtreme? One phone complained about not finding it, the other didn\'t but neither downgraded to 28.00
Jugger18 - April 16, 2009 at 4:24pm
Right before mine reboots after going to 100% it gives some sort of memory reference error
Jugger18 - April 16, 2009 at 5:07pm
Watching it a few more times, it seems to be complaining about the eep file
STEVE ANDERSON - April 16, 2009 at 5:37pm
I AM ON 5.8 BL THIS DOES NOT WORK SHAME TRIED TWICE NOW
Arif - April 16, 2009 at 2:06pm
Unfortunately I have 5.9 BL :( Please hurry on the 5.9! Why do some people have 5.8 and others have higher?
Nathaniel - April 16, 2009 at 2:11pm
Its based on when you bought your iPhone. If you bought it in the first production run you likely have 5.8. If you just bought your iPhone you probably have 6.2. Apple upgrades the bootloader as time goes on and fixes any holes
Rob - April 16, 2009 at 2:39pm
The bootloader depends on the Manufactured date of the iphone. I think phones that were manufactured before Nov 08 or Sep 08 are the ones with bootloader 5.8 I was one of the lucky ones to have bootloader 5.8 and now i am fully unlocked with T-Mobile U.S.A. version 2.2.1 Too bad i used a much longer and complicated method, and now i see that iClarified has a very simple tutorial.
Arif - April 16, 2009 at 5:53pm
Thanks! Oddly I purchased my iPhone 3G Nov 23, 2008 and it has 5.9 BL. I guess I\'ll have to wait until OS 3.0 unlock
Arif - April 16, 2009 at 5:58pm
BTW Rob, does you T-mobile USA drop signal on iPhone 3G when it displays the low battery warning that looks like a lighting bolt pointing toward outlet. Whenever I get my battery below 30%, it drops in standby mode w/o me knowing. Any fixes?
BENS - April 18, 2009 at 5:45am
you cannot return to the 28.no works
FAKE FAKE
BillyBOB - November 22, 2010 at 4:03am
