Same as Dan: Same problem as dOS and others. Itried several times. Same result. I have to restore to the origianl one. Sigh...... I get message, a BSD root md0, major 2, minor 0 and its stuck there, the message goes on and on... 16gb model, 3.9 BL, 1.1.3 firmware. Any suggestion? the message goes on and on...

Seb i found a way to downgrade, seems like it happens to the first iPods, email me, I will send you details on how to make it work.!!! I spent more than 6 hours but i found a way.!! my email is dos {at} nayaranja {dot} com I also send instructions to iClarified but they hadn\'t post them.
