Apple may soon announce it will start selling films for download in the UK and Canada through iTunes, according to Times Online.
Times believes that Apple intends to unveil agreements with Disney, Paramount, and Time Warner. This would make films like Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter and the Matrix available for download.
Exact pricing details were not available last night, but Times studio sources said that they "would not want to undercut DVD prices". That would imply prices ranging anywhere from £6 to £25.
The exact date for films to be made available has not been finalized, and the release schedule is up to the studios.
