Firecore has released the second beta of aTV Flash (black) with support for iOS 4.2.1 and Windows users.

Features:
● Surf the Web - Experience the web in all its glory and stream HTML5 video from many popular sites (note: not all HTML5 sites supported yet).
● Discover New Music - Find new artists you'll love by accessing Last.fm radio stations, artist bios and slideshows.
● Plex Client - Stream media from Plex Server running on your Mac. (big thanks to quiqueck for putting this together)

Apparently you need to jailbreak the device yourself - only tehtered available for the newest fw. Also the Plex is told not to support the newest FW and the other plugings are very shaky too on that.. correct me if im wrong. Should all the plugins be able to install manually anyway - for free??

Yup. Pretty much worthless until the Dev Team releases a jailbreak for 4.2.1 for the Apple TV G2. There is a tethered version out there but you have to repeat steps whenever you reboot the device. Not worth it. Hopefully soon though.
