A lineup of approximately 20 people waiting for the iPhone has formed in Japan at the Harajuku Softbank store, according to a MacWorld report.

It will be a 73 hour wait for Hiroyuki Sano a 24 year old student lining up for the iPhone. “When the iPhone was announced I watched Steve Jobs’ keynote and thought it looked like a great product and I’ve wanted one ever since,” he says.

The iPhone will officially go on sale in Tokyo at 7 a.m. on Friday morning.
