Breno MacMasi and Paulo Stool from desbloqueiobr.com.br claim to be the first to unlock the iPhone 3G using a SIM Card Adapter similar to TurboSim.

They say, "Our procedure consist in using one SIM adapter to simulate a fake IMSI test card. Instead of the AT&T IMSI like in the universals."

Don\'t be stupid! In Europe, at least in Portugal where I bought my 3G, the phones are carrier locked!! You may buy without a monthly plan, but it stills locked to that carrier you bought from. As mine is.

stupid jokers.... my friend bought his phone in hong kong from apple... take it to the state...and it works with any carriers u don\'t even need to unlock it
