Black Box Studio has announced the release of iShutdown 1.1, a new version of utility for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad that now allow you remotely shutdown, restart, sleep/suspend, hibernate and Wake-On-LAN your PC or Mac.

iShutdown works with Wi-Fi or 3G. It will automatically scan your local networks to find available hosts. Now you don't need to stand up from your armchair or bed to shutdown, restart, sleep, hibernate or even boot up your home mediaserver or any other host.

I just installed this and after installing the client on my Mac and playing with my router's firewall to allow WOL, I was able to get it to sleep and wake up :) This is nice for those times I want to use iTunes Home Share stuff and the Mac is sleeping.
