SMSEnhancer Improves Native iPhone SMS App

SMSEnahncer, a new tweak in Cydia brings both contact pictures and timestamps to the native SMS App, two features surprisingly missing. Timestamps are added to all incoming and outgoing messages. Contact pictures are also added next to the SMS. If no contact picture is available, a default one is used. SMSEnhancer does not require Winterboard, and does not add an icon to the home screen. Instead, all settings are integrated into the Settings.app.

Enhance your SMS experience with contact pictures right at your SMS app and timestamps for ALL incoming/outgoing SMSes! SMSEnhancer is a tweak commited to take your SMSing experience to another level. With SMSEnhancer, you get to see your contact's picture right inside from your SMS app giving you the feeling of a real IM client like iChat.

By default, for every contact that you exchange SMS with, the tweak will look for a picture for that contact from your address book, should you have no picture for a particular contact the tweak will load a default one instead. Also, the tweak allows you to turn on timestamps for EVERY incoming/outgoing SMS and not just based on certain amounts of time as currently is by default.

SMSEnhancer is available in the Cydia Store for $.99

omg... now almost everything on cydia is paid and in some cases its ridiculous. 99cents for just two tweaks!? ...come one... I understand in some cases that the price is well deserved, but others it is just bs...

One of the things I jailbroke for was getting normal emoticons (cross platform, so to speak). I think Apple should take another look at the standards out there. Emoji? Well, it´s not the standard... yet! I want BiteSMS to be the freacking standard!
