Porting Siri From iPhone 4S Will Likely Require Piracy

MuscleNerd, a member of the iPhone Dev-Team has indicated that a port of Siri from the iPhone 4S to other devices will likely require piracy.

Anyone hoping for a "port" of Siri from iPhone4S: pending a very low-level A5 exploit, it likely can't be done without piracy :(

(only way to extract Siri files from iPhone4S filesystem without pirating is to have the main FS keys, requiring low-level exploit)

Ever since the unlocks for iPhone 4 started coming from other sources while mysteriously remaining "in the works" from the dev team it's become obvious Apple "got" to them. Maybe they offered them a compromise: you can tethered jailbreak, but no more unlocks, and in return we won't try to stop you anymore. The sad reality is, outside of a tethered jailbreak for SOME devices, the dev team has become nothing more than an advertising tool for Apple. I thank them for all they did, but it's time to stop expecting them to come up with anything new. They certainly have the talent, but Apple stopped them from sharing it. Don't believe me? When's the last meaningful release they've done that's actually been a product of THEIR hacking? See my point? You have to go back to the original 4.0 unlock... They're dead folks...

Who cares? All there jailbreak authors only pretend they care about piracy but in fact I believe they understand that most people jailbreak iphone/ipad to install pirated apps.
