Samsung may have sent buses full of hired protestors to chant in front of the Apple Store in Sydney, according to Mumbrella.

The campaign – believed to be a local activation by Tongue for the global launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 smart phone, a rival to the iPhone - centres around a staged protest outside the Apple Story in Sydney.

A black bus branded 'Wake up.' saw people chant the slogan and wave placards outside the store, which was recorded by video blogger Nate "Blunty" Burr who claimed to have been at the venue by coincidence.

There is also a website at wake-up-australia.com.au featuring nothing but a large countdown timer.

Take a look at the video below...

And all the scared and pathetic company called Samsung managed with this was to put consumer focus on Apple instead of their upcoming phone.. Why doesn't Samsung just do their thing instead of this pathetic attempt to say that every iPhone user is a weak minded and brainwashed individual..? Samsung are clearly threatened and scared by Apple and they show it in a really sad way..

where's the news post about the new samsung 1.4ghz quad core cpu that will be going into the SGS3? Or do you not want to scare away the iphone fanboys =l. Don't worry 99% are too ignorant/naive to consider any phone as a feasible replacement for their precious iphone so you're safe.

Yep. It needs that kind of processing power to run that piece of shit operating system you call Android. Why an OS requires hardware acceleration to drive the multitouch UI, just beggars belief. But it's why you need a 1.2 Ghz processor. Enjoy your POS. you deserve it.

Bad point, the SGS2 runs much more efficiently than the 4s by a reasonable margin. Come back to me when your phone has caught up with handsets from 2 years ago and can multitask properly.
