InteVyDis Releases Untethered Jailbreak of A4 iOS 5.1.1 Devices [Video]

InteVyDis has released an untethered jailbreak for A4 devices on iOS 5.1.1 as part of Vulndisco Mobile 1.7. The module is vd_ios_untether_5_1_1.

vulndisco mobile 1.7 is out with untethered 5.1.1

It works by creating a custom bundle you have to install via RedSn0w.

The module builds a bundle you have to install on the device with the help of redsn0w tool. Finally the device will be jailbroken and you'll get remote CANVAS shell.

I01nc notes that the company is a legit source of exploits. "@legerov runs a company: Intevydis that sell exploit packs for many years. If that JB were fake he would hurt his own business."

The unfortunate thing is that now two sets of exploits may be revealed to Apple and some people may pay for the expensive exploit pack despite it being available free in a few days from pod2g.

MuscleNerd tweets "the most troublesome part is that (potentially) close to 2x as many exploits will be burned now with 2 A4 JBs".

I don't care about this jb. And I will never pay a penny for jb. I don't mind paying for an unlock for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the gevey bought out ultra snow.

Its fake for 100% take a look 7:20 to 7:33 when he type restart the cable is unplugged already

I love how they're releasing something (for money) yet using redsn0w to apply it. The Devteam should get some royalties from his sales.

Its called donation because it's your choice. You can either donate or you don't but you can still use the tool. Elementary my friend. There is a world of difference in the two.

Is this really an exploit being shown too early or just a more elegant way of doing a jailbreak? To me it looked like he just created a custome jailbroken firmware. Kind of like how iFaith creates custom signed ones.

You must be new to the scene. Haven't you heard about pwnage tool? It's been around for about 3 years from the dev-team. It creams already jailbroken custom firmware that jailbreaks when it restores.

Ya but that tool is for Mac I have windows. I know redsn0w can do the same thing to preserve bb but I've never used it before since I'm on AT

Never pay for a jailbreak, as musclenerd stated, jailbreaks should always be free, never pay for them. Listen to his advice
