Chunghwa Telecom has won the right to sell Apple Inc.'s iPhones in Taiwan, according to a CNN Money Report.
The company "has signed a contract with Apple, and will provide third- generation iPhone services in Taiwan before the end of the year," Chunghwa Telecom said in a brief e-mailed statement, without giving any further specifics.
According to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News Apple awarded Chunghwa Telecom the exclusive right to sell iPhones due to its large sales channel which consists of 300 sales outlets.
